The HeartMath(R) Stress Management Programme
The extraordinary HeartMath system comes to us from The Institute of HeartMath in California.
All too frequently there is little we can do about the things that cause us stress. Often continued exposure to stress leads to anxiety, depression and a general deterioration in our well-being.
Even when we can do something about these causes of stress, we still have to deal with them until we can make the necessary changes in our life. (See the page on Personal Change)
By using the simple HeartMath techniques you learn how to avoid the effects of stress. The HeartMath techniques teach you how to harness and focus the powers already within your nervous system to react constructively to these challenges.
Surely this is something you owe yourself, and to those you live with and work with. Especially when practicing the HeartMath techniques can also have such a profoundly beneficial impact on the health of your heart in the process.
Until recently the HeartMath programme had typically been made available in the UK to larger businesses and to schools. Now training in the HeartMath techniques is available to you through Peter Wilson and MindChange, courtesy of Hunter Kane, the UK license-holder of the HeartMath programmes.
Training is typically on a one-to-one basis, or can be to small groups.
One-to-one training is made a part of a 6 session, 6+ hours programme. The second session consists of the 2 hour HeartMath training. Included in the follow-up sessions will be reviews of progress you are making as you continue to practice the essential HeartMath techniques. The cost of the programme includes the Freeze-Framer soft ware.
As one satisfied client says:
"As you know, I continue to practise regularly and always after a breathing and heart visualisation session I feel refreshed, invigorated and focused, not just mentally but physically too. I highly recommend the 'quick coherence' technique as a simple method to make the shift from the head to the heart and transform wayward emotions. I use this a lot! I have also recommended it to my pschotherapy clients as it is a safe and effective method of stress management."
Mrs. Gillian Turner of London
And a special note to sports men and women:
HeartMath is increasingly being used to help sports men and women gain greater control when they are in tense, competitive situations.
HeartMath is not a relaxation programme. It will sharpen your game, rather than blunt it.
